Job summary

Michael Page recruits for a growing industrial manufacturing organization seeking a Senior Manufacturing Engineer to lead Lean initiatives across multiple facilities. This remote role involves extensive travel to sites nationwide.

You will analyze workflows, layouts, and production processes, drive value stream mapping, and collaborate with engineering, production, quality, and materials teams to implement best-in-class methods.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Manufacturing Engineering.
• 3+ years in manufacturing/industrial engineering or process improvement.
• Experience with Lean Manufacturing implementations.
• Proficient in AutoCAD or SolidWorks.
• Strong analytical and project management skills.
• Ability to travel ~75% across the United States.

Responsibilities

• Lead productivity, efficiency, quality, and cost-reduction initiatives.
• Analyze workflows, layouts, and operations to maximize performance.
• Develop and implement manufacturing methods and processes.
• Conduct value stream mapping and time studies.
• Collaborate with engineering, production, materials, and quality teams.
• Support plant leadership on continuous improvement projects.
• Utilize Lean tools to eliminate waste and improve performance.
• Evaluate capacity, labor utilization, and costs to support objectives.
• Partner with suppliers and internal stakeholders on tooling and process initiatives.
• Travel extensively to manufacturing facilities nationwide for projects.
