Job summary

NTT DATA Services is seeking a Lead Visual & Emerging Designer to guide the visual strategy and craft for Launch by NTT DATA. Remote in the US or Canada, you will shape cross-platform experiences and mentor designers across projects.

You will own visual direction, develop design systems, and leverage AI-enabled tools to push boundaries while ensuring accessibility and business impact. This senior role reports to the Head of Visual & Emerging Design.

Qualifications

8+ years of work experience as a visual designer, product designer, or equivalent role.
8+ years familiarity with common design and collaboration tools such as Figma, Sketch, Miro, etc.
Bachelor’s and/or graduate degree in a related field, or equivalent professional experience
Strong portfolio demonstrating craft and strategy
Experience leading visual direction on client engagements

Responsibilities

Bring big-picture strategic thinking to frame engagements and deliver premium visual work.
Own hands-on delivery of visual design on client engagements, setting and defending the visual quality bar.
Lead visual direction and critique across designers and disciplines on engagements.
Use storytelling, prototypes, and direction-setting to sell ideas and secure buy-in with clients.
Partner with product managers, strategy leads, and engineering to translate visual decisions into usable solutions.
Bring AI and emerging design tools into discovery, ideation, and production with sound judgment on quality and accessibility.
Coach designers on craft, presentation, and storytelling through critique and collaboration
