Qualifications

• 10+ years of underwriting experience in Allied Healthcare or related casualty lines.
• Strong emphasis on new business production.
• Established distribution relationships across retail and wholesale brokers.
• Experience underwriting Allied Healthcare risks and professional liability exposures.
• Background in E&S market with strong underwriting discipline.
• Demonstrated leadership capacity (team lead, mentor, or management).
• Strong analytical and decision-making skills with focus on profitable growth.

Responsibilities

• Drive profitable growth through production and portfolio management.
• Evaluate, select, and price new and renewal business to maintain a profitable book.
• Ensure adherence to underwriting guidelines and carrier expectations.
• Develop and maintain strong distribution relationships and negotiate terms.
• Collaborate with claims, compliance, and operations to ensure seamless underwriting lifecycle.
• Contribute to underwriting strategy and staff development to elevate program performance.
