Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Mathematics Education, or related field; master's preferred.
• At least eight years leading content development for large-scale summative assessments.
• At least three years in people/project management or similar leadership role.
• Strong knowledge of U.S. educational assessment practices and standards.
• Experience with assessment research, design, validation, and implementation.
• Ability to guide teams and influence stakeholders in complex environments.
• Strong presentation and executive communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple contributors and cross-functional teams.
• Willingness to travel 1–8 times per year, with trips lasting 2–5 days.
• Remote work readiness with reliable broadband for video meetings.

Aufgaben

• Test development leadership: design, develop, and implement large-scale standardized assessments.
• Team and project management: guide test developers and item writers and coordinate responsibilities.
• Mathematics content expertise: review content for accuracy, rigor, and alignment.
• Assessment strategy and innovation: contribute to complex test development strategies.
• Client and stakeholder management: manage expectations and maintain relationships across the lifecycle.
• Risk and project oversight: identify risks, monitor mitigation efforts, escalate issues.
• Cross-functional collaboration: coordinate activities across content, PM, and org priorities.
• Technical review and QA: evaluate content quality and alignment with standards.
• Client presentations and TAC participation: present findings to clients and senior leaders.
• Assessment standard setting: support rubric validation and data reviews.
• Training and knowledge development: lead training on standard-setting and best practices.
• Proposal development: contribute subject matter expertise to bids and opportunities.
• Continuous improvement: identify opportunities to improve assessment methodologies.
