Job summary

Tech Holding is seeking a hands-on Lead Site Reliability Engineer for a project-based assignment to improve performance, reliability, and scalability across our platform. You will define what the platform can sustain today, identify constraints, and drive remediation with engineering teams.

This contract role requires deep expertise across application services, infrastructure, databases, networking, and CI/CD gates.

Qualifications

• Significant experience in Site Reliability Engineering or related discipline.
• Experience supporting production systems with meaningful scale, traffic, latency, or availability requirements.
• Deep understanding of observability, performance analysis, capacity planning, and reliability engineering.
• Strong hands-on experience with cloud infrastructure and production distributed systems.

Responsibilities

• Establish baselines for throughput, latency, and capacity across critical workflows.
• Define and maintain SLOs, error budgets, dashboards, alerts, and reliability thresholds.
• Instrument and analyze request paths across services, storage, networks, and databases.
• Lead cross-functional remediation efforts to remove bottlenecks and improve reliability.
• Develop capacity models showing what the platform can sustain and the cost of scaling.
