Job summary

Chenega MIOS seeks a Lead Solution Architect to provide enterprise architectural leadership for the GSAFleet.gov platform, guiding technical strategy, integration patterns, cloud modernization, and standards that enable secure, scalable digital services for government stakeholders.

The role focuses on modernization, automation, data integration, DevSecOps, and AI-enabled innovation across the Fleet ecosystem. Remote work is permitted with a Washington, DC-area orientation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in a related field.
• 10+ years of experience designing and developing systems using AWS cloud-native architectures.
• Ability to undergo a Tier 2S Investigation and receive a favorable outcome.
• Successfully pass background and drug screening.

Responsibilities

• Lead development and evolution of GSAFleet.gov target and as-built architecture across products.
• Set standards for shared services, APIs, data access, IAM, security, and deployment.
• Design interface, quality, and performance standards; analyze cost-benefit of modern information systems.
• Assess options for cloud scalability, reliability, cost, and technical debt; present government-facing recommendations.
• Coordinate with Data Architect, AI/ML Architect, and ISSO on cross-product decisions.
