Qualifications

• 6+ years in software development with 4+ years in Solidity-based smart contracts.
• Proven experience leading a team of engineers or technical projects.
• Deep understanding of the Ethereum Virtual Machine (EVM).
• Knowledge of DeFi protocols and token standards (ERC-20, ERC-721, ERC-1155).
• Experience with development frameworks (Hardhat, Truffle) and testing methodologies.
• Strong knowledge of smart contract security principles and mitigation techniques.
• Excellent communication and leadership for a remote team.
• Bachelor's or Master's in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design, development, testing, and deployment of complex and high-value smart contracts.
• Define and enforce best practices for smart contract development, security, and auditing.
• Architect robust and scalable smart contract systems with gas efficiency and upgradeability in mind.
• Mentor a team of smart contract developers and promote technical excellence.
• Conduct thorough code reviews focused on security vulnerabilities and performance.
• Collaborate with product managers and other teams to translate requirements into secure solutions.
• Oversee integration of smart contracts with frontend and backend systems and other protocols.
• Stay ahead of trends and security practices in smart contract and blockchain space.
• Develop and maintain documentation for smart contract codebases and architectures.
• Contribute to the strategic technical roadmap for blockchain initiatives.
• Champion a security-first mindset throughout the development lifecycle.
• Participate in external security audits and ensure timely remediation.
