Job summary

VIVA USA Inc. seeks a Technical Specialist – Mid-Level to lead design of SharePoint and web-based tools for Permits and District Offices. You will translate business requirements into user stories, prototype, test, and train users on new processes.

You will mentor junior staff and drive ongoing improvement of mission-critical tools, coordinating with stakeholders and developers to streamline operations across the life cycle.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience as a Business Analyst or Solution Designer.
• Strong skills in translating business requirements into user stories.
• Expertise with SharePoint, Power Platform, and content management.
• Experience leading design and development with Agile SDLC and QA.
• Ability to mentor junior technical staff and train end users.

Responsibilities

• Designs and builds custom SharePoint and web-based solutions for Permits and District Offices tools.
• Gathers requirements from business clients and translates them into user stories for the Development Team.
• Prototypes, tests, and debugs applications and processes, including the Permits virtual/help agent.
• Prioritizes and tracks work items to ensure timely, high-quality delivery.
• Re-engineers business processes and identifies quick wins for District Offices and legislative fee prep.
• Tests deliverables and develops training materials and documentation for new processes and systems.
• Leads and mentors junior-level technical staff, providing direction and oversight on design and development tasks.
• Supports and continuously improves the live Permits and District Offices tools across stakeholders, developers, and end users.
