Lumen is seeking a Lead Information Security Engineer to own and drive Red Team initiatives across cloud-native and hybrid environments. You will lead adversarial emulation, coordinate complex security assessments, and mentor engineers, balancing deep technical work with leadership responsibilities.

You’ll apply MITRE ATT&CK, AWS/Azure/GCP security know-how, and advanced testing methodologies to reduce risk and strengthen defenses while collaborating with security, product, and engineering teams.

Formación

• 5+ years of hands-on penetration testing or offensive security.
• 7+ years in Information Security (or 5+ years with a Bachelor's).
• Professional certifications in penetration testing (GPEN, GWAPT, GMOB, OSCP, OSWE, or equivalent).
• Proven experience leading complex penetration tests and adversarial exercises from planning through reporting.
• Deep expertise in MITRE ATT&CK, threat-informed testing, adversarial emulation, and modern cyber threats.
• Strong knowledge of AWS, Azure, and/or GCP security, including identity, networking, workloads, and cloud control planes.
• Experience applying OWASP, NIST, CIS Controls, and other security frameworks.
• Advanced knowledge of networks, operating systems, identity systems, applications, APIs, scripting, and enterprise technologies.
• Demonstrated leadership, mentoring, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

Responsabilidades

• Lead penetration testing, adversarial emulation, and threat-based security assessments.
• Plan and execute complex assessments across infrastructure, apps, cloud, APIs, databases, and identity systems.
• Direct ACE and Red Team engagements, coordinating risk and delivering actionable findings.
• Provide technical leadership across multiple initiatives while remaining hands-on.
• Define testing strategies, review findings, and guide remediation to reduce risk.
• Partner with incident response, engineering, product, and business teams to identify vulnerabilities.
• Drive automation, tooling, and AI/ML-enabled security capabilities for Red Team services.
• Communicate risks and business impacts to executives and technical audiences.
