Job summary

Gulf Companies is seeking a Professional Land Surveyor (PLS) to lead multiple survey projects, supervise field crews, and ensure quality control across field and office work.

The successful applicant will be licensed in at least some of the states listed (FL, GA, AL, TX, NM, AZ, MS, LA) with 5+ years of experience, strong knowledge of Trimble equipment and AutoCAD Civil 3D, and excellent communication with clients. Remote work options are available.

Qualifications

• Licensed Professional Land Surveyor in at least some of the states: FL, GA, AL, TX, NM, AZ, MS and LA.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in land surveying.

Responsibilities

• Supervise field crews and manage multiple survey projects.
• Conduct field surveys for land boundary determinations and topographic mapping.
• Prepare and process legal descriptions, plats, and maps for recording.
• Communicate with clients, team members, and stakeholders to ensure project success.
• Stay up-to-date with surveying technology and techniques to improve services.
• Maintain and update records and reports related to surveying activities.
• Familiarity with GIS and mapping software.
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize tasks.
