Smiley Pool Services, a family-owned company serving Lakewood Ranch, Bradenton, Sarasota, and surrounding communities, is seeking a Pool Equipment Repair Technician in a lead role. You’ll diagnose, repair, and service residential and commercial pool equipment, and take ownership of your daily schedule.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of hands-on pool equipment repair experience.
• Strong diagnostic and mechanical skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage your own day.
• Leadership mindset with the ability to help grow this division of the business.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Clean driving record & ability to operate a truck and trailer.
• Willingness to work flexible hours when needed.
• Ability to pass a background check.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair residential & commercial pool equipment.
• Service DE pits, salt systems, heaters, and automation systems.
• Install pool lights, heaters, salt cells, and equipment upgrades.
• Perform Pentair & Jandy warranty repairs.
• Inspect equipment for safety and performance.
• Track jobs, notes, and customer communication using the company app.
• Maintain repair truck.
• Support and collaborate with Service Technicians when needed.
