Motion Recruitment Partners LLC is seeking a Lead Platform Engineer for a full-time role focused on building modern cloud infrastructure on AWS. This position offers remote work within the US and centers on backend development, Kubernetes, and API-driven platform tooling to empower engineering teams.

You will stay hands-on while influencing platform strategy, owning services, and driving developer productivity across the organization through automation and scalable internal tooling.

Qualifications

• Strong experience building backend services using Java or Python.
• Hands-on expertise with AWS cloud services and cloud-native architecture.
• Solid experience with Kubernetes and containerized environments.
• Proven ability to design and build APIs and microservices.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure as code tools such as Terraform.
• Background leading technical initiatives while remaining actively involved in coding.
