Job summary

Fluor Corporation is seeking a Lead Engineer to oversee technical execution on assigned projects. The position requires an accredited engineering degree and a minimum of 16 years of experience, with professional registration preferred.

You will mentor teams, drive technical quality, and coordinate with clients and subcontractors across multiple disciplines. The successful candidate will contribute to project planning, risk mitigation, and schedule development while upholding Fluor’s standards

Qualifications

Requires accredited four-year engineering degree plus 16 years of experience; professional certification/registration preferred.
Demonstrated ability to communicate with management, coworkers, clients, vendors and visitors.
Advanced knowledge of discipline codes, standards, and materials cost.

Responsibilities

Develop and review estimates and schedules, progress reports, including workforce forecasts.
Establish, track, and monitor material quantities; provide analysis and forecasts.
Develop and review specifications, including design criteria.
Participate in equipment/procurement, permitting, and subcontracting activities.
Perform and check calculations; solve complex engineering problems.
Lead Supervising Lead role and mentor less experienced engineers; provide performance input.
Provide independent recommendations aligned with project objectives and guidelines.
Other duties as assigned.
