Job summary

DaMar Staffing is seeking a Lead Pfs Medical Billing Specialist to provide senior-level leadership in patient financial services and medical billing. You will mentor teams, ensure accurate claim submission, and drive compliance while addressing complex payer issues and audits.

You will collaborate across revenue cycle departments, participate in onboarding, training, and continuous improvement initiatives, and act as a key escalation point for complex billing questions and process enhancements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor-level knowledge not required; strong domain experience expected in PFS/medical billing.
• Proven ability to guide teams, escalate issues, and mentor staff.
• Excellent communication with internal and external stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Serve as subject matter expert and escalation resource for complex billing questions and rejections.
• Accurately prepare and submit claims while complying with payer requirements and deadlines.
• Research payer policies and communicate updates to billing teams and leadership.
• Analyze complex discrepancies, identify root causes, and propose solutions.
• Collaborate with revenue cycle, provider, and payer teams to resolve issues.
• Provide quality reviews, mentorship, and oversight for junior staff.
• Lead onboarding and training programs for staff and ongoing education.
