Job summary

Circle is seeking a Lead KYC Utility Analyst to join our Compliance Operations team. You will own end-to-end KYC lifecycle processes, from onboarding to offboarding, and conduct in-depth investigations to ensure safety of the Circle platform.

You will work with cross-functional partners to apply risk-based decisions and drive process improvements. Ideal candidates have 7+ years in AML/KYC, plus crypto onboarding experience and strong investigative skills.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in AML/KYC reviews for corporates.
• 2+ years in crypto onboarding due diligence.
• BA/BS degree; quantitative or technical degree preferred.
• CAMS, CFCS or CFE certification is a plus.
• Experience in a fully remote, multi-time-zone environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end KYC lifecycle reviews including onboarding, periodic reviews and offboarding.
• Perform enhanced due diligence and negative news reviews on complex customers.
• Monitor ongoing customer activity and assess risk across transactions.
• Collaborate with business teams and control functions to ensure regulatory compliance.
• Document findings with detailed narratives and actionable recommendations.
