Job summary

Tetra Tech is seeking a part-time Lead Hazard Control Intake Specialist to support our Cincinnati, OH operations from a home office. This remote role handles intake, eligibility review, and coordination of SHPO requests and occupant relocation during abatement projects.

The ideal candidate will have at least 1 year of related experience, strong organizational and communication skills, and proficiency with Microsoft Office. Travel is limited and hours vary, including potential evenings.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of experience in a related field.
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, able to convey regulatory information clearly.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and ability to learn program-specific software.
• Ability to work collaboratively with diverse individuals and teams.

Responsibilities

• Provide timely information and assistance to participating families and/or property owners throughout the application and abatement process.
• Review and verify applicant income documentation to determine program eligibility in accordance with guidelines.
• Process SHPO determination letters and ensure compliance with preservation regulations for qualifying properties.
• Coordinate the temporary relocation of program participants during abatement activities and arrange accommodations/transportation as needed.
• Oversee the distribution and record keeping of meal vouchers for relocated occupants.
• Maintain accurate pre- and post-abatement documentation and communications.
