Job summary

Lumen Technologies is seeking a Lead Software Developer to drive innovation, technical excellence, and continuous improvement. You will mentor developers, shape architecture, and deliver scalable, secure enterprise applications spanning frontend and backend layers.

You will design robust RESTful services, work with relational and NoSQL databases, and champion automated testing with Playwright while guiding modern development practices and CI/CD across the lifecycle.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of professional software development experience with a relevant degree.
• 5+ years with a Master's degree or equivalent.
• Proven backend and microservices with Node.js.
• Strong frontend with Vue.js SPA.
• Experience with RESTful services and relational DBs (PostgreSQL).

Responsibilities

• Architecture, design, and maintain scalable web applications.
• Build and optimize RESTful APIs and backend microservices.
• Develop frontend interfaces using Vue.js for responsive UIs.
• Design and optimize PostgreSQL and MongoDB schemas.
• Lead automated testing with Playwright and unit tests.
• Troubleshoot performance, security, and defects across apps.
• Collaborate with architects, managers, analysts, and stakeholders.
• Lead code reviews, promote CI/CD, and enforce security standards.
• Support deployment, configuration, and operations across environments.
