Job summary

Jobgether, listed on behalf of a partner company, seeks a Lead Front-End Developer for e-commerce in the United States. You will drive architecture, lead a remote front-end team, and deliver high-performance shopping experiences using React and Next.js.

You will shape front-end standards, optimize performance, and run A/B tests to improve engagement and conversions, mentoring developers while aligning with product goals and design systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science plus 4+ years frontend experience or 8+ years frontend experience.
• Strong proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript/TypeScript, React, and Next.js.
• At least 3 years of experience leading or mentoring front-end developers.
• Experience with GraphQL, headless CMS solutions, or composable e-commerce platforms.
• Experience implementing and analyzing A/B tests for web applications.
• Authorization to work in the United States without employer sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain efficient, scalable, dynamic, and maintainable front-end solutions using Next.js.
• Lead front-end delivery across web properties, with a primary focus on the main e-commerce website.
• Collaborate with UI/UX designers, back-end developers, QA specialists, and product managers to integrate React components and deliver cohesive user experiences.
• Lead and mentor a team of front-end developers, support professional growth, and organize training sessions on Next.js and front-end best practices.
• Establish and enforce coding standards, development best practices, and code review processes.
• Use GraphQL to fetch and manipulate API data from composable e-commerce and headless CMS platforms.
• Own website accessibility in line with WCAG 2.1 Level AA standards and optimize Core Web Vitals.
• Monitor emerging technologies to improve front-end architecture, development workflows, and delivery quality.
• Contribute to project planning, resource allocation, sprint reviews, and cross-functional coordination.
• Implement and analyze A/B tests to evaluate website improvements.
