Piper Companies is seeking a Lead Data/Platform Engineer to join a healthcare technology organization. The Lead Data/Platform Engineer will play a key role in rebuilding the company's data pipeline from the ground up, helping modernize the platform and establish a scalable foundation for future growth.

The role requires 10+ years of data engineering experience, deep knowledge of ETL, and hands-on expertise with AWS, Terraform, and modern data warehouses.

Competenze

• 10+ years of data platform or data engineering experience.
• Experience re-architecting or rebuilding data pipelines and platforms.
• Proficiency in Python/Node.js/Go/TypeScript and backend development.
• Hands-on with AWS, Terraform, CI/CD, and containerization.
• Advanced SQL and data warehousing with Redshift or Snowflake.

Mansioni

• Rebuild and modernize a legacy data pipeline with scalable ingestion, processing, and storage.
• Design integrations for APIs, vendor feeds, BigQuery, and external data sources.
• Build event-driven ETL processes using Python, Node.js, or similar technologies.
• Develop and manage AWS infrastructure with Terraform and CI/CD pipelines.
• Establish observability, monitoring, and data lineage for production systems.
• Lead data migration, reconciliation, backfill, and cutover efforts.
