Job summary

UBC seeks a Manager of Data Management to lead data management activities across studies, acting as the primary contact with sponsors and vendors. You will design database build specs, develop data cleaning requirements, and ensure timely DM deliverables. The role requires leadership and strong regulatory knowledge.

You will collaborate across study teams, contribute to RWE projects, and ensure adherence to SOPs while managing budgets and timelines. Remote opportunities are available.

Qualifications

• BS/BA degree or equivalency in clinical data experience.
• Minimum 5 years clinical data management experience.
• Leadership experience required.
• Familiarity with CDISC/CDASH including the SDTM model.
• Willingness to travel up to 15%.

Responsibilities

• Act as lead data manager on projects from database start-up through database lock and CSR/submission.
• Serve as the primary data management contact for sponsor, internal teams, and vendors.
• Deliver quality data to sponsors and review DM tasks with Project Managers.
• Develop and maintain Data Management Plan and core DM documents per SOPs.
• Participate in UAT and support Real World Evidence projects.
