Job summary

Ladders is seeking a Lead Clinical Study Manager to guide the operational strategy and execution of early‑phase and Phase 2/3 clinical studies for a leader in Pharmaceuticals & Biotech. This remote role collaborates with cross‑functional teams, strategic partners, and CROs to keep studies on time, on quality, and within budget.

Responsibilities include leading study planning, feasibility, site selection, and inspection readiness across the portfolio, with 5–20% travel.

Qualifications

• BS/BA in health-related or life sciences or equivalent experience.
• 6+ years in the pharmaceutical industry or clinical research, including 4+ years in clinical study management.
• Experience in early phase or Phase 2/3 studies, preferably global.
• Knowledge of global regulatory requirements, including US CFR, EU CTR, and ICH GCP.
• Strong project/program management and matrix leadership skills.
• Fluent in business English, both oral and written.
• Willingness to travel 5-20%, including international travel.

• Lead operational strategy and planning for assigned clinical studies.
• Oversee cross-functional study execution teams to meet objectives.
• Manage relationships with strategic partners and CROs.
• Ensure compliance with quality standards and budget management.
• Participate in site feasibility and selection processes.
• Challenge study execution teams to meet timelines and operational feasibility.
• Ensure studies are inspection-ready at all times.
