VA Boston Healthcare System Research and Development Service seeks a Supervisory Budget Analyst to forecast and document the organizational budget and ensure that revenues and expenditures are used in an appropriate and timely manner.

The role includes supervising Budget Analyst staff, preparing budget formulation documents, and coordinating with research management. Telework is available with a typical Mon-Fri work schedule; duty location is a VA facility.

Responsabilités

• Development of performance standards and position descriptions; evaluating work performance and counseling employees.
• Initiates disciplinary actions when necessary.
• Uses detailed analysis and estimates to match funding needs with funds by appropriation.
• Works with research management to prepare annual budget formulation documents.
• Prepares reimbursable requests for submission to Office of R&D for action.
• Providing direct technical and administrative support for day-to-day supervision of Budget Analyst, Program Analyst, and Program Specialist.
