Responsibilities

• Perform a variety of budgetary and administrative functions to support funding execution.
• Research un-liquidated obligations and deobligates unused funds to increase funding available.
• Correct omissions and discrepancies on source documents.
• Monitor quarterly expenditure rates, and keeping costs within funding limitations.
• Reviews the use of funds throughout the fiscal year using a computer with spreadsheet and database software applications programs.
• Recommend budget adjustments and resolve budget problems with departments serviced.
• Applying and maintaining up-to-date knowledge of laws, rules, procedures, and/or regulations accurately.
• Provide management with financial information, such as financial reports showing the status of receipts, obligations, and expenditures of funds.
