Humana Inc is seeking a Lead Application Architect within its Digital Technology organization to provide strategic architectural leadership across enterprise initiatives, shaping cloud-native, API-first platforms on Azure and mentoring engineering teams.

You will define target architectures for microservices and event-driven designs, drive DevSecOps and CI/CD pipelines, and partner with product, security, and business teams to deliver resilient healthcare technology.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or equivalent.
• 10+ years in software engineering, application or enterprise architecture.
• 5+ years designing distributed enterprise-scale systems.
• Strong expertise in microservices and API design.
• Extensive experience with Microsoft Azure cloud services.
• Experience with event-driven architectures using Kafka or similar messaging.
• Knowledge of integration patterns in distributed systems.
• Docker and Kubernetes experience.
• CI/CD and DevSecOps practices.

Responsabilidades

• Lead architecture and design of enterprise-scale applications using microservices and cloud-native principles.
• Define target-state architectures and modernization roadmaps for strategic capabilities.
• Establish architecture standards, reference architectures, and engineering best practices.
• Drive API-first architecture and enterprise integration strategies.
• Lead architecture reviews, governance, and technology evaluations.
• Design and implement scalable, secure solutions on Azure (AKS, App Services, API Management).
• Guide adoption of Azure-native services and cloud migration strategies.
• Design and govern event-driven architectures with Kafka and streaming tech.
• Champion DevSecOps and automation across engineering teams; CI/CD pipelines and IaC with GitOps.
• Mentor architects and engineers; run architecture review boards and ensure security/compliance.
