Job summary

Maximus is seeking a highly skilled Technical Lead Appian Developer to drive the design, development, and implementation of complex case management and workflow automation in a federal environment. The role is remote and requires a Public Trust security clearance.

You will lead development initiatives, mentor teams of developers, and align AI-driven capabilities with security and compliance standards, including FISMA and NIST. Minimum salary $130,000 and up to $150,000.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering or related field (or equivalent).
• 7+ years of hands-on Appian development experience (Appian 17.x or later).
• 3+ years in a technical lead or senior developer capacity leading teams.
• Experience delivering mission-critical apps in federal or highly regulated environments.
• AI & Automation: experience with AI in business processes and Appian AI familiarity.
• Proficient in SQL and relational databases; Oracle database experience.
• AWS cloud experience; Agile software development expertise.
• U.S. citizenship is required; ability to pass background checks and obtain Public Trust.
