Job summary

W.S. Connelly & Co., LLC is seeking a Senior Analytics Engineer in Midlothian, VA. The role owns data ingestion, modeling, and governance, replacing fragmented MSP work and legacy reporting with a unified platform.

You will evaluate platforms, design end-to-end ETL/ELT pipelines, implement data governance, and consolidate reporting on Power BI. A remote-capable, multi-ERP environment experience is a strong plus.

Qualifications

5+ years in data/analytics engineering with data warehouse or lakehouse experience.
Experience designing and building end-to-end ETL/ELT pipelines from multiple sources.
Strong grounding in dimensional data modeling and governance practices.
Proven ability to implement data quality, access controls, and lineage.
Experience consolidating reporting on Power BI at scale.

Responsibilities

Own data ingestion, modeling, and governance for a unified data platform.
Evaluate and select a modern data platform (Fabric, Snowflake, Synapse, Databricks).
Build and maintain ETL/ELT pipelines from ERP systems into a governed warehouse.
Establish standards, security, and data lineage across business units.
Consolidate reporting onto Power BI and retire legacy tools.
Collaborate with transitional analytics resources during the handover.
