Stealth-Mode Marketplace Startup | MENA Region is seeking a hands-on Lead AI & Data Platform Engineer to own our site's AI, data platform, and growth automation infrastructure. This role is not purely research; you will design, build, deploy, measure, and improve production systems across data engineering, AI automation, LLM integrations, recommendations, and marketing data activation.

Qualifications

• Strong experience with personalization, ranking and recommendation systems.
• Hands-on experience with Python and data platforms.

Responsibilities

• Own AI, data platform and growth automation infrastructure for the site.
• Design, build, deploy, measure and improve production systems across data engineering, AI automation, LLM integrations, and recommendations.
• Activate marketing data, lifecycle automation, lookalike campaigns and CRM automation using data-driven insights.
• Balance internal development with open-source tools and third-party solutions to maximize impact.
