Eliassen Group in the United States seeks a Lead Agilist for a remote, contract role in Financial Services. You will coach Agile squads, facilitate Scrum events, and guide backlog management and empirical decision‑making to improve delivery and value.

This W2 position offers a competitive $75–$85/hr rate, comprehensive benefits, and collaboration across the organization. Requires 5+ years of business experience, 3+ years Scrum, and a Bachelor's degree or equivalent.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of full-time business experience.
• 3+ years of Scrum experience.
• Strong oral and written communication; experience presenting, teaching, mentoring, and facilitating.
• Proven ability to remove impediments outside of the team.
• Coaching skills to convey complex messages and teach new concepts.
• Conflict resolution and mediation capabilities.
• Proven ability to build trust, rapport, and high-performing teams.
• Working knowledge of SDLC disciplines and practices that support agility.
• Familiarity with CI/CD, TDD, and automated testing.
• Knowledge of Kanban, Scrumban, XP, and Mob programming.
• Ability to use empirical data and metrics to drive decisions.

Responsibilities

• Coach Agile Squads on values, principles, and practices.
• Facilitate Scrum events and ensure value from all ceremonies.
• Guide Product Owners and Development Teams in backlog clarity.
• Promote self-organization, continuous improvement, and cross-functionality.
• Identify and help remove impediments, escalating when necessary.
• Shield teams from external interference to maintain productivity.
• Foster a safe, trusting environment for open discussion and problem solving.
• Leverage metrics and feedback loops for inspect-and-adapt improvements.
• Apply knowledge of DevOps, pipeline automation, and testing practices.
• Collaborate with peers and the Agile Center to improve team effectiveness.
• Model servant leadership and support growth of team members and stakeholders.
• Ensure risk identification, management, and reporting aligned with policies.
