Job summary

Zekai is seeking a Law Student contractor for a remote US-based role. You will apply your legal expertise to train AI systems by reviewing, analyzing, and annotating U.S. legal documents, and drafting high-quality content for data training.

No AI background required; JD students or law students preferred. You will provide accurate Bluebook-formatted citations, clear explanations of legal concepts, and collaborate with project stakeholders to improve guidelines and data quality.

Qualifications

• Current law student enrolled in a U.S. law school; J.D. degree holders or U.S.-based lawyers/paralegals with relevant expertise are encouraged to participate.
• Exceptional Bluebook proficiency and citet-checking skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication with clarity and detail.

Responsibilities

• Review, analyze, and annotate complex U.S. legal documents for accurate feedback for AI model training.
• Draft, edit, and refine legal content to enhance data quality for AI training.
• Offer detailed cite-checking and Bluebook formatting for legal materials.
• Provide clear written explanations of nuanced legal concepts and reasoning processes.
• Evaluate and verify the legality of provided content, ensuring consistency and reliability.
• Collaborate with project stakeholders through strong written and verbal communication.
