RWS invites applications from Latvian-speaking contributors to join a freelance speech data collection project. Work from home with flexible, task-based hours (about 2–4 hours daily) and immediate start. Rate is 9 USD per hour, paid promptly.

You’ll help evaluate and improve AI speech systems by recording natural speech and annotating data. Applicants should have native Latvian (Latvia) fluency and good English to follow instructions.

Formación

• Native-level fluency in Latvian (Latvia).
• Advanced level of English to understand written instructions.
• Authentic pronunciation and familiarity with the language via everyday use.
• Contributors must not imitate dialects or accents that are not their own.
• Experience with speech recording or data annotation is an advantage but not required.
• Strong attention to detail when providing annotations and recording metadata.

Responsabilidades

• Record or collect natural, spontaneous speech per project guidelines.
• Capture speech from real-life situations, such as workplace conversations or casual discussions.
• Complete single or two-person conversational speech tasks, or interact with AI/machine systems.
• Annotate collected speech data according to provided instructions.
• Provide required information and metadata related to each recording.
