Job summary

Atomic HR is a remote product studio delivering MVPs and custom software. You will work on a live workflow product, focusing on server-side Azure SQL and API, plus React/TypeScript UI.

You’ll guide AI coding tools, review changes, and ensure robust, auditable workflows while collaborating with leadership and a product manager. This role emphasizes four-to-five features per sprint and end-to-end ownership of a module.

Qualifications

• 4+ years building full-stack web apps in production.
• Able to learn an unfamiliar codebase quickly.
• Experience with workflow software, roles, approvals, and audit logs.
• Proficient React, TypeScript, and SQL on Azure.
• Daily use of AI coding tools with tests and CI behind it.
• Clear written and spoken English.
• Experience delivering fixed-scope sprints with PRs and feature flags.

Responsibilities

• Extend the production SQL database on Azure with new tables, permissions and versioned records.
• Write the server-side workflow rules: state machines, approval gates and independent review steps.
• Enforce role-based access by company and assignment at both the database and the API.
• Build the audit log, stale-write protection and idempotent endpoints so a retry never duplicates data.
• Build the React and TypeScript work queues, bulk assignment tools and dashboards.
• Integrate email, SMS and file storage providers, and design the sync APIs the mobile application calls.
• Write migrations from legacy sources, with reconciliation reports and a duplicate review step.
• Break each sprint's scope into small PRs and verify every acceptance criterion before merge.
