Job summary

Cognizant is seeking a LabVantage Engineer to translate lab processes into compliant, scalable digital workflows within life sciences environments. You will bridge business needs with LIMS solutions and partner with cross-functional teams on data, integrations, and validation.

The role emphasizes requirements gathering, process mapping, and stakeholder engagement, with a focus on GxP compliance and FDA/EU frameworks. Salary ranges and benefits apply.

Qualifications

• Strong experience in LIMS (LabVantage preferred).
• Deep understanding of lab workflows (sample lifecycle, stability, batch release, ELN/LIMS integration).
• Experience with URS/FRS, process mapping, and business analysis artifacts.
• Knowledge of GxP environments and familiarity with 21 CFR Part 11, Annex 11, validation processes.
• Exposure to REST APIs, file-based interfaces, and middleware.

Responsibilities

• Lead requirements management and analysis workshops with stakeholders.
• Define solution design and align with LabVantage capabilities.
• Engage with businesses, IT, and delivery teams; demonstrate systems.
• Support data migration, interface requirements, and data mapping.
• Help define SIT/UAT scenarios and validation activities.
• Assist go-live planning and post-production support.
