Job summary

Barrett Distribution Centers, Inc. is seeking a remote 3PL Compliance Developer who will design, develop, and implement software for retailer labeling and packing slips across Barrett’s warehouse network.

You will convert partner guides into production-ready label templates, maintain reports in SAP Crystal Reports, and ensure GS1-128 and related standards compliance. Strong SQL and WMS/ERP integration experience are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Management, Supply Chain, IT, or related field.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in information systems, IT, supply chain management, or a related field.
• Hands-on experience designing and developing retailer-compliant labels and packing slips using SAP Crystal Reports and label design platforms.
• Knowledge of GS1 standards and supply chain labeling requirements (UCC-128/GS1-128, UPC/GTIN, RFID/EPC).
• Strong English communication; bilingual Spanish/English preferred.
• Strong SQL skills; Oracle experience preferred.
• Experience supporting a Warehouse Management System (WMS) or Tier 1 ERP with advanced WMS module; label trigger/configuration.
• Familiarity with EDI/XML/flat files and transport methods (EDI VAN, AS2, FTP).
• Proficiency in Microsoft 365 (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Word).

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, configure, and implement software solutions for labeling and packing requirements.
• Translate trading partner compliance guides into production-ready label templates and documentation.
• Lead compliance onboarding for new customers/retailers; coordinate with PMO, integration, and ops teams.
• Audit active programs against current guides and maintain documentation.
• Serve as IT point-of-contact for compliance requirements and deadlines.
