Job summary

Icon Health is seeking a board-certified physician to serve as a collaborating physician for our Advanced Practice Provider team operating in Kentucky. The physician will assist with licensing, credentialing, CAQH updates, payer enrollment, and related administrative tasks while providing medical supervision and consultation to APPs.

The role permits remote collaboration, with regular availability by telephone or electronic means to support clinical services and ensure compliance with Kentucky

Qualifications

• Board certification in relevant specialties (Sports Medicine, PM&R, Physiatry, interventional pain medicine)
• Active license in Kentucky in good standing
• Physically located and practicing in Kentucky
• Comfortable serving in collaborative physician capacity for APPs
• Responsive and organized to support credentialing submissions and CAQH profile updates
• Aligned with Icon Health’s mission to improve orthopedic access and outcomes

Responsibilities

• Serve as a collaborating physician for Icon Health APPs practicing in Kentucky
• Support licensing, credentialing, CAQH updates, payer enrollment, and related administrative requirements
• Be available by telephone or electronic means when APPs provide medical services
• Provide clinical collaboration and consultation when APPs encounter patient care needs beyond their competency
• Assist with referral or escalation to physicians when clinically indicated
• Participate in APP competency evaluation and peer review activities
• Ensure APPs have qualifications and training for authorized medical services and medications
• Review and update the Practice Agreement regularly and document collaborations
