Job summary

BioAge Labs, Inc. is seeking a Knowledge Graph Engineer to design, build, and maintain scalable graph solutions. You will translate ontologies into production schemas, develop pipelines linking enterprise data to graph platforms, and create queries for downstream analytics.

Ideal candidates bring 3+ years in data engineering, expertise with graph databases (Neo4j, Stardog, GraphDB) and RDF/OWL semantics, plus API design experience. Remote-friendly with strong collaboration across teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in computer science, data engineering, AI or a related field.
• 3+ years of industry experience in data engineering.
• Hands-on experience with graph databases (Neo4j, Stardog or GraphDB) and writing/optimizing queries in Cypher or SPARQL.
• Working knowledge of RDF/OWL semantic modelling and turning ontologies into schemas.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and extend knowledge graph schema, ingestion pipelines and query layer (Neo4j, Cypher, Apache Jena Fuseki, BigQuery).
• Build validation and data-governance pipelines for data quality, provenance and versioning.
• Collaborate with biology, data science and AI teams to enable graph data access for downstream apps.
• Develop APIs (REST/GraphQL) to expose graph data and build data-quality frameworks.
• Write clean, production-grade code and apply engineering best practices.
