Job summary

BioAge Labs is seeking a Knowledge Graph Engineer to design, build, and maintain scalable knowledge graph solutions. You will translate ontologies into production systems, develop pipelines connecting enterprise data to graph platforms, and craft queries that empower downstream analytics and intelligent applications.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in computer science, data engineering, AI or a related field, with 3+ years of industry experience in data engineering.
• Experience with biomedical data and ontologies (UniProt, Gene Ontology, EFO, MONDO) is preferred.
• Experience with graph databases and semantic web technologies (RDF/OWL).

Responsibilities

• Maintain and extend knowledge graph schema, ingestion pipelines and query layer.
• Build and run validation and data-governance pipelines for data quality, provenance and performance.
• Maintain ontologies and semantic models with biology and data science teams, and develop the mapping tool for new terms and analyses.
• Integrate knowledge graph solutions with cloud platforms and enterprise data ecosystems (Google Cloud, BigQuery).
• Collaborate with data engineers, AI and biology teams to make graph data accessible for downstream applications.
• Write clean, production-grade code and apply engineering best practices.
