Job summary

ITU - International Telecommunication Union is seeking a Kaizen and Process Improvement Consultant to drive continuous improvement within the Information Services Department. This role focuses on facilitating Kaizen events, mapping value streams, and coaching teams across an international, remote work setup.

With a seven‑year track record in Lean/Kaizen and organizational efficiency, you will help design optimized workflows, establish dashboards, and support ITU’s transformation efforts.

Qualifications

• Advanced degree in a relevant field or equivalent
• Minimum seven years of experience in process improvement and Kaizen facilitation
• Knowledge of English at advanced level; French an advantage

Responsibilities

• Facilitate Kaizen workshops and improvement cycles for key processes
• Design, document, and optimize workflows under transformation plans
• Apply Lean/Kaizen methodologies across ISD teams
• Identify inefficiencies with process owners and prioritize initiatives
• Coach staff to embed continuous improvement and problem-solving
• Develop performance dashboards and visual management systems
• Support change management and communications
• Collaborate with Transformation Team to align with strategy
