BairesDev is seeking a Software Engineer specialized in Apache Kafka to build and operate real-time data pipelines powering event-driven architectures. You will design scalable streaming solutions and ensure high throughput and reliability across the data ecosystem.

This role emphasizes hands-on Kafka, Streams, Connect, and Avro serialization, with opportunities to collaborate across global teams in a fully remote setting.

Competenze

• 4+ years in Data/Software Engineering or Stream Processing.
• Proven experience designing real-time data pipelines with Apache Kafka.
• Experience with Kafka Streams, Confluent, and Avro for data serialization.
• Strong English communication.

Mansioni

• Design, implement, and manage production-grade Kafka clusters and streaming applications.
• Develop real-time data integration pipelines using Kafka Connect and Kafka Streams.
• Optimize cluster performance, topic configurations, and resource utilization for high-scale environments.
• Implement robust data schemas and versioning strategies using Avro and Confluent Schema Registry.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to define event-driven standards and streaming best practices.
• Ensure system availability and data integrity through proactive monitoring and disaster recovery planning.
