Job summary

USD 207 Fort Leavenworth School District is hiring a Virtual Support Paraprofessional for the 2026/2027 school year to assist licensed virtual staff with therapy services, evaluations, screenings, scheduling, and conferencing.

The role reports to the Building Principal and Assistant Superintendent of Student Services and offers a non-exempt, hourly position with wages from $17.00 to $29.94 per hour, depending on experience, within a 7.5-hour workday.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience collaborating with colleagues, families, and students from diverse backgrounds.
• High level of competence with software systems and devices; includes Microsoft Office and Google Suite.
• Strong written and verbal communication with good grammar and clarity.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work with school staff and parents.

• Valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with students, families, and virtual providers effectively.
• Adapt to change and interruptions with a positive, proactive approach.

• Support the district’s vision, mission, and goals.
• Serve as liaison between students, families, and virtual providers.
• Facilitate scheduling of virtual evaluations, conferences, meetings, and services.
• Prepare materials and manage the virtual service environment under supervision.
• Monitor student participation and fidelity during virtual services and evaluations.
• Maintain confidentiality of student and personnel records.
• Travel between buildings on post using a personal vehicle as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned by administration.
