Job summary

HelloHero is seeking a remote School Social Worker to support K–12 students across districts. The role offers school-day alignment with student schedules, 15–30 hours weekly, and flexible contractor options (1099 or W2). Licensure in Michigan and related certifications are required.

You will coordinate with school teams, families, and internal support with structured onboarding and clear workflows. Compensation includes a hourly rate of $60–$66, loyalty bonus, and paid training plus

Qualifications

• Active Michigan license BSW/MSW required
• MDE Certification Full Approval Letter or MDE Professional School Social Worker Certificate required
• Experience with IEPs and school-based collaboration preferred
• Comfortable using technology for virtual service delivery and documentation systems
• Reliable internet connection and access to appropriate technology for virtual delivery

Responsibilities

• Deliver speech-language services aligned with IEPs
• Conduct assessments and implement interventions
• Develop goals and track student progress
