Job summary

Pearson Online Academy seeks a School Counselor to work from a home office and engage students and families using telephone, email, and LiveLessons. Qualifications

• Certification in school counseling from any state preferred; or teaching certification required.

Responsibilities

• Advise students and families related to academics, career planning, well-being, and graduation.
• Maintain progress monitoring and regular contacts with learning coaches and students.
• Coordinate Student Support Team and crisis prevention/management plans as needed.
• Assist with course selection, four-year plans, and graduation requirements.
• Collaborate with teachers and staff to ensure student safety and successful remote learning.
