Job summary

ZealHire Inc. is seeking a Junior Software Engineer to join the ACCELQ automation and software development effort for a regulated SaaS-based solution. You will design, build, test, and deploy features while aligning with FDA-quality expectations.

You will work with Java, JavaScript, SQL and modern frameworks like Angular and Spring Boot in a remote setting, collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver reliable software with strong automation coverage.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in CS/Engineering or equivalent.
• Three years in a SaaS product development environment of FDA-regulated medical device environment.
• Experience with Java, JavaScript and SQL.
• Experience with Angular, Spring Boot, Postgres, Docker, Git, Kubernetes and Kafka.
• Experience in Domain Driven Design, Event Driven Architecture, and Reactive Programming is desirable.
• Experience developing and maintaining automated test solutions; experience with ACCELQ ideal.
• Experience using release management and ALM tools like Jira and Git/Gitlab.
• Experience in SAFe with remote work environment.
• Must be comfortable with FDA-regulated software quality expectations.

Responsibilities

• Develop, execute, and maintain automated test suites in ACCELQ.
• Design reusable automation assets to support a scalable framework.
• Develop automation solutions for web apps, APIs, DB validation, and end-to-end testing.
• Improve automation coverage and efficiency across releases.
• Investigate and resolve automation failures and improve stability.
• Promote automation best practices using ACCELQ.
• Design, build, test, deploy, and support a regulated SaaS solution as part of a team.
• Collaborate with Agile teams to define user stories and acceptance criteria using BDD/TDD.
