Job summary

Emergency University invites applications for a Remote Junior Software Engineer to contribute to the development and maintenance of our online training platform. You will collaborate with experienced engineers to design, implement, and improve features while writing clean, well-documented code.

Ideal candidates have 1–2 years of software development experience and familiarity with Java, Python, or JavaScript, plus front-end skills (HTML, CSS, React/Angular).

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
• 1-2 years of software development experience, preferably remote.
• Proficiency in Java, Python, or JavaScript.
• Experience with front-end development using HTML, CSS, and JS frameworks (React/Angular).
• Familiarity with database design and management.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the software engineering team to design and develop new features for the online training platform.
• Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code that meets industry standards.
• Troubleshoot and debug issues in existing codebase.
