Job summary

American Association for Cancer Research is seeking a Junior Salesforce Developer for a remote role based in Philadelphia. You will contribute to a multi-cloud Salesforce environment including NPC, Marketing Cloud, and Data Cloud, building and configuring solutions from defined requirements.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of hands-on experience with Salesforce as a developer, administrator, or analyst.
• Hold current certification as a Salesforce Platform Administrator and/or Platform App Builder.
• Foundational programming ability with Apex and Lightning Web Components (JavaScript, HTML, CSS).
• Declarative configuration skills including flows, validation rules, page layouts, and permission sets.
• Experience using Git/GitHub and deployment tools (Gearset) as part of a modern SDLC.
• Familiarity with sandbox management and deployment lifecycle.
• Willingness to collaborate with technical teams across AACR.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office 365 and related tools.
• Experience with agile project management and Atlassian products.

Responsibilities

• Build custom functionality using declarative and programmatic Salesforce solutions.
• Write and maintain Apex test classes and ensure code quality.
• Configure objects, fields, record types, page layouts, and flows to meet requirements.
• Collaborate with Analysts and stakeholders to translate needs into solutions.
• Participate in code reviews and QA activities during releases.
