Job summary

AmeriHealth Caritas is seeking a Senior Salesforce Developer to join our fast-growing Member CRM Team. You will deliver and build Salesforce-based solutions, work across complex integrations, and help shape the future of Healthcare IT from a remote position within EST or CST time zones.

The role focuses on hands-on development, architecture collaboration, and adherence to enterprise standards while supporting Salesforce platforms and partner integrations.

Qualifications

• At least six (6)+ years of software development experience in a fast-paced environment.
• At least five (5)+ years of Salesforce hands-on development experience.
• Required Salesforce Developer II Certification.
• Expertise in Salesforce LWC and Apex development.
• Experience with REST, SOAP integrations and RDBMS.
• Strong DevOps experience: Git/Bitbucket, VS Code, Jenkins.
• Experience with Salesforce Service Cloud and Security/Data Model.

Responsibilities

• Understanding user requirements, user stories effectively and seeking clarifications proactively.
• The design and implementation of multiple complex system integrations and Salesforce features.
• Working collaboratively with architecture team to ensure alignment with enterprise architecture direction and SDLC standards.
• Analyzes and reduces complex problems into simple, manageable components.
• Carries out systematic problem identification, analysis, and resolution.
• Performing hands-on solution development on Salesforce Platform and other technologies.
• Design, develop, code and test programs from specifications.
• Effectively composes technical and non-technical documents such as design specs and operation guides.
• Ensure the Salesforce solutions adhere to Salesforce CoE standards.
• Evaluates technical performance challenges and recommends tuning solutions.
• Participate in agile development methodology to drive the outcomes.
• Reviewing other Salesforce developers and contractor’s work.
