Job summary

DCS Corporation is seeking a Junior Developer to join our teams developing Navy next-generation mission planning software on an Agile/SAFe team. This position can be performed 100% remote within Eastern Standard or Central Standard time zones.

Essential duties include contributing to SAFe development, owning software products, mentoring junior engineers, and collaborating across distributed teams to exceed customer expectations.

Qualifications

• U.S. Citizenship required due to sensitive requirements.
• Bachelor's degree plus 2 years of experience.
• Ability to obtain Secret Clearance.
• Experience with Java or C#/ASP.NET Core and web tech (React, TS/JS, Node, HTML5, CSS).
• Experience with Microservice architectures.
• Able to work with distributed teams.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to software development as part of a SAFe team for Navy mission planning software.
• Take ownership of software products and deliverables.
• Provide guidance to software and test engineers.
• Present technical analyses and recommendations in meetings.
• Collaborate with senior engineers and architects to improve software.
• Mentor junior software engineers.
• Collaborate with customers and users to meet requirements.
