Jobot is seeking a newly licensed or very junior Associate Attorney for a fully remote role with offices in Texas, California or Tennessee. The candidate will work under experienced litigators, with mentorship toward depositions, trial preparation, and eventual trial responsibility.

Starting compensation is in the $80,000+ range with potential growth based on performance, and the role emphasizes hands-on training in a technology-driven, coast-to-coast practice.

Qualifications

• Newly licensed or early in their first year of practice.
• A strong legal writer.
• Detail-oriented and highly attentive.
• Eager to learn litigation from experienced attorneys.
• Comfortable receiving hands-on training and feedback.
• Interested in eventually taking depositions, appearing in court and developing into a true trial attorney.
• Entrepreneurial and interested in growing with the firm long term.
• Candidates currently awaiting bar results may also be considered.

Responsibilities

• Independently manage litigation matters.
• Draft substantive motions, briefs and pleadings.
• Conduct and defend depositions.
• Prepare cases for trial.
• Work directly with clients.
• Develop case strategy.
• Take increasing ownership of matters.
• Grow alongside the firm as it expands into additional practice areas.
