Job summary

Cogniify, Inc. is hiring a Java Full Stack Developer to build and improve web applications used in real business workflows. This role is primarily Java development, with front-end work in React or Angular.

We seek 2–4 years of hands-on Java full stack experience, strong Java and Spring Boot skills, REST API expertise, and solid SQL knowledge. Familiarity with Git, testing and CI/CD is expected. Basic exposure to AI APIs is a plus.

Qualifications

• 2 - 4 years of hands-on Java full stack development experience.
• Strong Java and Spring Boot skills, with experience building REST APIs.
• Good working knowledge of SQL and relational databases.
• Familiarity with Git, testing and CI/CD practices.
• Basic exposure to AI APIs, prompt engineering or AI-enabled application features. You do not need to be an AI specialist.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain backend services using Java and Spring Boot.
• Develop user interfaces using React or Angular.
• Create REST APIs and work with SQL databases.
• Write clean, tested code and take features from development through deployment.
• Work with the team to troubleshoot issues and improve application performance.
• Support simple AI features, such as connecting an application to an LLM API or adding an AI assistant to an existing workflow.
