Job summary

Redhorse Corporation is seeking a Junior GIS Analyst to support the Army National Guard on a long-term engagement. The role focuses on CIP helpdesk duties, SDSFIE standards migration, and maintaining critical geospatial data layers.

Remote work with periodic local DC-area coordination is expected. The candidate should have a bachelor’s degree in GIS with at least 2 years of GIS experience, Python scripting skills, and proficiency in ArcGIS Pro, SQL, and the MS Office suite.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in GIS or related field.
• At least 2 years of professional GIS experience.
• Experience automating workflows with Python for geospatial data.

Responsibilities

• Data Aggregation & QA/QC: structure workflows for QA/QC and enterprise data aggregation.
• CIP Quality Reporting: run data quality analyses and generate discrepancy reports using Python-based tools.
• Tool Maintenance & Optimization: modify CIP tools and Python scripts to improve validation/reporting.
• Application Support: update GLAD application to meet evolving specs.
• Helpdesk Support: serve as frontline resource for CIP data submission and user issues.
• Standards Migration & Training: assist SDSFIE migration and stakeholder training.
