NTT DATA, Inc. in Arlington, VA (REMOTE) seeks a Junior Developer to support full‑stack development, API integration, and data work. You will contribute to back-end and limited front-end features and collaborate in a team environment.

You will use Python, Java, and JavaScript to build and integrate RESTful APIs, work with databases, Linux, and Git, with opportunities to grow and gain security clearances. This role offers flexible remote work options.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of experience with Python.
• Minimum 2 years of software development using Python, Java, JavaScript, Node.js, or similar technologies.
• Minimum 1 year of experience building or integrating RESTful APIs using API design principles or OpenAPI.
• Minimum 1 year of experience with Git/GitHub for source control, branching, and PRs.
• Minimum 1 year of experience with relational or NoSQL databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, or DynamoDB).
• Minimum 1 year of experience with Linux command-line environments.
• Ability to obtain/maintain a Public Trust Clearance.

Responsabilités

• Assist in developing, testing, and maintaining application features across back-end and limited front-end components.
• Help build, integrate, and maintain RESTful APIs and other service integrations using OpenAPI specifications.
• Support database development tasks including writing queries, managing schemas, migrations, and data integration.
• Use Python to develop scripts, services, integrations, and automation components.
• Participate in Linux-based development, troubleshooting, and environment configuration.
• Assist in mapping backend data structures to front-end components using JavaScript, React, or basic front-end tech.
• Maintain clear, accurate technical documentation.
• Work with Git/GitHub for branching, PRs, reviews, and collaboration.
• Contribute to code reviews, basic automated tests, and QA processes.
• Assist in troubleshooting application issues and deployments.
• Stay current with development, integration, and documentation best practices.
